September 2022 - Woo-Hoo!  It is the beginning of rutting season. Our new buck, Jamcin's Ranch Fistful of Dollars, has been wooing his girls for several weeks.  He hails from the "Show Me" state, Missouri.  His genetics are impeccable and I look forward to seeing his new babies.

Soon, our other boys will have an opportunity to meet their girls. Because of last year's high demand, we are stretching out our kidding season.  Baby kids will start to arrive in a few months and continue throughout the winter and into spring.  We hope this new system will makes for better for our customers rather having the long wait.

We have started next year's waiting list.  More than ever, myotonics are popular. They fulfill an important niche in today's family farms - family friendly, healthy and productive all rolled up into one package - the Tennessee Fainting goat.

Have questions?  Contact us either through our e-mail at oaksandcedars@aol.com or text 512-573-5849.

Last summer, I received a letter from a new customer - she already had Nigerian Dwarfs but wanted myotonics.  This is what she wrote.

"Oh, my. I love my babies. They are soooo sweet. Did not like the ride home but when we got here they followed me right out of truck all around the yard into their pen. This morning they are eating and cleaning up where the other two dwarf Nigerian’s are eating around. I am very happy.

We didn’t get out of the drive and I told my husband we should have gotten the other 2 I liked. The farther down the road, the more I regretted. I love my Nigerians but will only get Myotonics in the future. If after you have gone thru your list you have any " left overs", please let me know. I may just take more. Or I will wait till your next round of babies.

Again, thank you so much for your information and for your goats.

Their names are Oreo and Milano, both cookies. My Nigerians are Espresso and Latte. So now I have coffee and cookies.

Have a great day,
Jan W......
